Baracho studied Hospitality Business at Anhembi Morumbi University in São Paulo, and continued his education at Cornell University in New York in Hospitality Financial Management. He subsequently attained an MBA in Project Management at FGV, Fundação Getúlio Vargas, completed a specialization in Project Investment Analysis also at FGV, and later graduated from the Hospitality Trainee Program at Cambridge University (UK).

 

He has held top positions in global companies such as Accor, Atlântica Hotels, Hilton, and Ramada. He was an asset manager for BSH International as well as director of XII BHIC. Baracho has written four books in Project Management and Quality, published by Editora IESDE Brasil.

He is currently the Executive Director of Interval International for Brazil and teaches MBA and graduate courses in Strategic Planning and Finance.
